Gion Incense Sculpture
Designed specifically to store and hold incense, Gion is the perfect marriage of form and function and acts as a daily reminder to stop an enjoy a 15 minute incense ritual.
The handcrafted porcelain canister is perfectly sized to store 7cm incense sticks, while the lid is home to a secret holder for burning!
Named after the Gion district in Kyoto - famous as the Geisha district and known for its small laneways and wooden buildings. The linear carvings on this piece are reminiscent of the beautiful wooden detailing in this area and inspired the name.
